Frequently asked questions
Why Should I Choose Bounce Barn?
At The Bounce Barn, safety is our #1 priority! We install the Watchdog Blower Siren on all inflatable rentals, clean and inspect all inflatable units before and after every use and provide affordable entertainment for all ages. We understand that trust and relationships are priceless - we are licensed and insured, and our professional staff is on-time, friendly and well-trained.
How far in advance should I book a rental reservation?
For your convenience, the fastest way to reserve your event equipment is through our one-stop source website at www.thebouncebarn.com. To ensure equipment availability, please make your rental reservations as soon as possible as our equipment is often booked weeks and even months in advance.
What form of payment do you accept?
We use secure PayPal transaction processing to include Apple Pay, Google Pay, and all major credit cards - Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. With prior approval, we accept business checks and cash. If paying with cash, please have the correct amount; for our safety, we do not carry cash.
What kind of ground surfaces can inflatables be set-up on?
If possible, all inflatables must be staked in the ground for safety. If staking is not possible, weights such as sandbags will be required instead of stakes. When in doubt call 811 to assist - Set-up location and conditions are the responsibility of the customer. You must be able to indicate where electrical, gas, phone, water, and any other utility lines/ buried hazards are located before stakes or anchors are inserted into the ground. The location must be identified upon placing a rental reservation and cannot be modified once an inflatable rental is in transit. The Bounce Barn is not responsible for damage to underground cabling and/or utilities including irrigation systems.
How much electricity do I need to power an inflatable?
Our inflatables are inflated using a fully enclosed electric blower unit that is powered by a standard three-prong electrical outlet, 110 volts, 20 AMP circuit. The enclosed blower motor constantly runs to keep the unit inflated, so continuous sufficient power will be required. Each blower draws approximately 9-10 Amps (1,000 -1,100w) with some larger units requiring multiple blowers. Electricity is needed within 100 feet of the inflatable.
